Understanding Audit Errors and Warnings

What the red and orange numbers mean, and how to clear them.

Audit findings come in two levels: red numbers are errors and orange numbers are warnings, listed per URL in the SEO and AEO sidebars.

Common findings and their fixes:

Missing short content: the item emits no structured data. Write a one-sentence summary in the Short Content field.
Missing page description: write one in Sites > SEO (100 to 160 characters).
Page title too long: keep titles under 60 characters in Sites > SEO.
Unpublished or non-routable items: excluded from the audit surface and flagged in the sidebar; publish them if they should be live.

After fixing a field, use Save & audit to confirm the finding clears without navigating away.
