Running an Audit

Scan every page for SEO and AEO issues and fix them from the same screen.

An audit scans every public page on your site and reports SEO and AEO issues as errors and warnings for each URL.

Step 1: Trigger an audit

Go to Sites > SEO or Sites > AEO. At the top right of the manager, click Run audit. The button shows a spinner while the scan runs, then the page reloads automatically when it finishes.

Step 2: Read the sidebar findings

After the audit completes, each URL in the left sidebar shows a count next to it. Red numbers are errors; orange numbers are warnings. Pages with no issues show nothing extra. Click any URL to open its fields on the right.

Step 3: Fix highlighted fields

When a URL has audit issues, the affected fields are highlighted in the form with a short note explaining what is wrong. Common AEO findings include items with no short content, which emit no structured data until the summary is written. Correct the value and click Save.

Step 4: Save & audit

The Save & audit button on any SEO or AEO form saves your changes and immediately re-runs the full site audit. Use it when you want to confirm that a fix resolved the finding without navigating away.

Step 5: Full audit report

The Brand Audits report lists every past audit with a total count of URLs scanned, errors, and warnings. Click any row to open the detail view, which has an SEO tab (URL, status code, title, meta description, issues) and an AEO tab (URL, FAQ count, schema types present on the page, issues). Columns are sortable; click an issue count to expand the specific messages for that URL.

Note: Non-routable items are excluded from the AEO audit surface and are flagged in the sidebar.
